Clinton Engineering is hiring a few motivated students to join our team as Construction Apprentices. You’ll work part-time during the school year (breaks, in-service days, and some weekends) and full-time in the summer.

Apprenticeship: A Path to a Real Career
Apprenticeships are not just summer jobs. They’re a career pathway. Programs typically last 2–3 years, combining:

- Classroom instruction at state-of-the-art training facilities across Iowa
Apprentices learn lifelong skills, receive hands-on learning experiences, and are paid for their work – all at the same time! After completing the program,
there are many career paths to follow, including Tradesman, Foreman, Safety Director, and more.
What You’ll Do
As a part of our team, you’ll gain real-world construction experience, including:
- Assisting with concrete pours, framing, site prep, and general labor
- Learning how to safely use tools, equipment, and materials
- Setting up and cleaning work areas, tools, and equipment
- Following safety procedures and helping maintain a safe worksite
- Receiving on-the-job mentorship from skilled tradespeople
You’ll see firsthand what it takes to succeed in construction and build a strong foundation for your future career.
Who We’re Looking For
We want motivated students who are ready to learn and work hard!
- High school junior or senior enrolled in the EICC Construction Program
- Comfortable being outdoors and on your feet
- Shows up on time with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Able to pass a drug screen and background check
- Driver’s license is a plus but not required
